I would recommend Alana a million times over. In fact I’m not sure we’d have anyone else photograph our life milestones from now on. We held our wedding on our private property (so she’d never been there before) and her ability to read the space, light, us.... amazing. She captured unforgettable moments of us, our family and friends, our four legged friend and our landscape. All without any direction or nagging from me. My husband and I are not used to be in front of the camera and maybe not the most photogenic people but Alana has an ability to be both ‘there’ and ‘not there’ at the same time. She is ‘there’ to guide you through an unusual experience of being ‘directed’ for a photo, but also ‘not there’ that is doesn’t feel like someone is intruding on some of your most intimate moments. Over a year later and my photos still take my breathe away. Over a year later and I’m still viewing photos where she has captured something I hadn’t noticed before. Over a year later I am still in ore of how she made my husband and I look and our property pop. Would we hire her again? In a heart beat. Would we recommend her to friends? Already have. Do yourself a favour and have a coffee with Alana to talk about your wedding day, family session or whatever it is you want to capture. I promise she will amaze you from your first sip of coffee and you’ll be hiring her just like I did.

We’d describe you and your work as nothing less than phenomenal. Alana you are relaxed and so incredibly personable which meant you fit in so easily on our big day with our family and friends. The communication in the lead up to our big day was super smooth and without any guidance you absolutely nailed our photos. You made us feel so relaxed and really added to the fantastic vibe on the day. Everyone who has seen our wedding shots has said they are the most incredible they’ve ever seen, and we couldn’t agree more! We've had our engagement, wedding and we've made a tradition of getting our family photos done each year with Alana. Every year i think "these are the best yet" and the next year rolls around and Alana outdoes herself again. If Alana ever moves overseas, we will also be shelling out airfares to get our pictures taken by her. We go 12 months and never worry about looking good in photos, because we take comfort in knowing Alana will capture our family so beautifully when we see her at the end of the year, it makes up for all the terrible selfies/tagged of us. Cannot recommend anyone more highly. Our family photos are our most prized possessions and we have Alana to thank for that.

Alana is both incredibly professional and personal from the beginning. We have booked a number of family sessions with her, and each time the service is equally as personable, organised and prompt. She has a rawness in her ability to capture images, where candid meets art. Such a journalistic approach to photography meant the true feelings and real moments are always captured beautifully. Alana was so professional during the lead up, her calm and relaxed approach really assisted me in the planning of our special day. She was honest, insightful and really had our best interests at heart. During the day she was exceptional, she wasn’t in our or our guests faces. She was in the back ground and honestly felt like one of our family sharing our day with us. The group photo sessions were so much fun and not awkward at all. She has a special way of making everyone in front of her lens relaxed and comfortable. I thought on the day she took some great shots but it wasn’t until we received our photos back did I see the magic she created. Words cannot explain how amazing you were on our Wedding day, from the moment Dave and i met you for our pre wedding shoot we felt like we were old mates. You are so down to earth and made the two most awkward people feel at ease. Our wedding day flew by faster then what we were ready for but having your images to look back on makes it so easy to relive the day whenever we like. All of our guests commented on how awesome and professional you were and applauded us on scoring you as our Photographer. Alana captured our engagement shoot as apart of our wedding package. At this time I knew without a doubt I had picked the perfect person to capture our day. Alana was so comforting, easy going and made us feel like having our photo taken was fun and enjoyable. Our wedding day was captured so wonderfully thanks to Alana. She felt like family on the day and was able to capture everyone in a warm and natural way which shone through in our photos. Alana nailed the brief! She shot our recent wedding in Mollymook and produced the dreamiest photographs. Neither of us feel particularly comfortable having our photos taken but she immediately put us at ease with her down to earth, warm vibe. She was encouraging, told us what to do, where to stand and captured some really beautiful moments in the least cheesy way possible. And she was quick! We didn’t want to miss too much of the party, so Alana managed to get all the portraits done in about half an hour. Blitzed it! She captured the best versions of us.
