Tahleya & Tim’s Vibrant Garden Wedding at The Merribee, South Coast of NSW
If I had to describe Tahleya and Tim’s wedding at The Merribee in one word, it would be joyful. This incredible couple celebrated their love in the most vibrant way, surrounded by blooming gardens, colorful florals, and their closest friends and family.
Held mid-October, The Merribee was in full bloom, and the gardens looked absolutely magical. Although the day began with a light drizzle, it only added to the fresh, vibrant feel of the setting, and by the time Tahleya walked down the aisle, the rain had stopped!
The talented Emily from Wed Event Creators flawlessly coordinated the day, while the team from Henry Clive kept everyone refreshed with their signature cocktails. The breathtaking florals by The Flower Pursuit, which added bursts of colour to every corner of the venue.
One of the most special aspects of Tahleya and Tim’s wedding was how personal it was. Tahleya, alongside her sister, handcrafted so many of the styling pieces and details, ensuring every element felt authentically them. From the signage to their table settings, every detail told their story beautifully.
Their relaxed approach to the day was one of my favourite things. They wanted to prioritise time with their guests over anything else, so we kept the formal photo session short and sweet, making the most of Merribee’s stunning backdrops while still allowing them to enjoy every moment with their loved ones.

Tahleya and Tim’s wedding was a reminder that the best celebrations are the ones that reflect who you are as a couple. Their day was laid-back, colourful, and filled with love—and I feel so grateful to have been there to capture it all.
