Oh film photography - you have my heart.

I’ve been shooting film for over 15 years now, but my love for it started much earlier. When I was 14, I stumbled across my sister’s camera, and that was it—the sound of the shutter hooked me. I claimed it as my own (sorry, sis!) and never looked back.

I shot everything: family holidays, my sisters in their element at home, random bursts of nature. There was no rhyme or reason, just the pure joy of capturing the world as I saw it. Looking back, I think it’s safe to say my love for photography started right there, with film in hand.

These days, I’ve built up an extensive collection of film cameras, each with its quirks and personality. Shooting on film brings an intentionality and depth to my work that feels impossible to replicate. It’s imperfect, unpredictable, and so incredibly nostalgic—and that’s exactly why I love it.

With love,
