Alice & Ed | Elegant Ravensthorpe Estate Wedding
If there’s one word to describe Alice and Ed’s wedding at Ravensthorpe Estate, it’s timeless. Held in early November 2024, their day was filled with classic black styling, elegant details, and a relaxed atmosphere that perfectly reflected their priorities: spending quality time with their guests and truly enjoying their day.
One of the best things about Ravensthorpe is that everything is onsite, from the ceremony to the reception and all the beautiful photo locations in between. This meant Alice and Ed could save time traveling and focus on what really mattered—connecting with their loved ones and soaking up every moment of their celebration.
The day was beautifully coordinated by Sarah and Brooke from Events by Sarah and Brooke, who ensured everything flowed seamlessly and stress-free for the couple. Happy Heart Films captured their day on video, and together, we all worked to create an unforgettable experience for Alice and Ed.
Despite the warm weather, everyone embraced the heat with smiles, and the vibe was nothing short of joyful. During canapés, Alice and Ed mingled with their guests, sharing laughter and memories. Their choice to prioritize time with their loved ones made their day feel incredibly authentic and heartfelt.
As the evening unfolded, we snuck out just before mains to capture some stunning sunset portraits. These five minutes allowed Alice and Ed to reconnect, breathe, and take in the beauty of their day amidst the golden light. The photos from this moment are some of my absolute favorites, and I’m so glad they took the time for this quiet moment together.
The reception was full of energy and emotion, with speeches that left everyone laughing, crying, and cheering. The heartfelt words shared by their family and friends were a testament to the love and connection that surrounded them.
Ravensthorpe truly is a magical venue for couples. With everything in one location, it creates a relaxed and intimate atmosphere, allowing couples to fully enjoy their day without any unnecessary stress. Alice and Ed’s wedding was the perfect example of how beautiful, seamless, and meaningful a wedding day can be when it reflects what’s most important to the couple.
